It’s never too early to start preparing for your future!
Students can prepare to apply to Palmer College even while they’re still in high school. As a high school student, there are some steps you can take that will save you time and tuition, and prepare you for the challenges of attending chiropractic school.
Palmer’s Bachelor of Science completion program available at the Main Campus can help you accelerate your education and save time and tuition while doing it. By enrolling in a 3+1 or 2+2 program, you can take coursework that fulfills your B.S. and D.C. degrees and can save you up to a year’s worth of time and tuition.
Tips to help you prepare for chiropractic school:
- Focusing your electives on science and health care classes will set you up for early success in your journey to becoming a chiropractor.
- Consider reaching out to a local chiropractor to hear their story and learn what it’s like to be in practice.
- You can also request more information from Palmer College of Chiropractic. We’d love to hear from you and help you learn more about how you can change lives as a Doctor of Chiropractic.
Are you graduating from high school soon?
- On Palmer’s Main Campus only, we’ve collaborated with Scott Community College to develop an affordable, high-quality, joint-admissions program that will prepare you to enroll directly into the Doctor of Chiropractic program. This pathway enables you to earn a D.C. degree in about five and a half years!*
- You can use the joint-admissions program to prepare for Palmer’s Bachelor of Science Completion program on the Main Campus, which will save you a year’s worth of time and tuition, and allow you to complete both your D.C. and B.S. degrees in about six and a half years.
- You can also choose from one of our 3+1 or 2+2 enrollment agreements with colleges throughout the U.S. which will save you a year’s worth of time and tuition, and allow you to complete both your D.C. and B.S. degrees in about six and a half years.
*Important note: some states require a bachelor’s degree for licensing, so check your state with the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards before choosing this pathway.
