Dr. Endres’ Story
I never thought I would be where I am today. I knew I wanted to be able to help people but after seeing the way traditional medicine was heading, I wanted nothing to do with that. I wanted to actually help people help themselves. I wanted to find root causes and fully live in the salutogenic model rather than the allopathic that is traditional medicine. It was then that I realized chiropractic was the path for me.
After researching which school would be right for me, I was delighted to see that Palmer had a women’s rugby team. I played rugby in undergrad at Central Michigan University and the family dynamic of the sport was something I was excited to be a part of again. However, Palmer rugby grew into way more than I would have ever expected.
I have gained some of my best friends from that Centennial Park pitch. Friends that became my family away from family and now are my most trusted colleagues who I never go more than a month without checking in on. These friends pushed me to be a better player, coach and chiropractor.
Today, I am an associate at Grassroots Family Chiropractic in Battle Creek, Michigan. Grassroots has become a family that I love sharing with my Palmer rugby colleagues. We have had the honor of hosting multiple students over the last year. I specialize in perinatal and pediatrics. Many people joke when they come into the clinic, that it looks more like a daycare than a doctor’s office but that’s exactly why we love it!
