Two years ago, chiropractic brought Lilly Holmes and Colton Towle together. Now, they’re in their third trimester at Palmer Florida, and not only has their love for Palmer grown, but so has their family.
Lilly knew back in high school that she wanted to attend chiropractic school. While at the University of Alabama working toward a degree in Kinesiology, Lilly interned with Palmer alumni Drs. Joseph and Rachel Freeman.
Colton, on the other hand, was majoring in biology but wasn’t sure what career he was working toward. While home from University of Tennessee-Martin on winter break during his senior year, Colton was invited to shadow at Freeman Chiropractic to learn more about the profession.
You could say it was love at first sight for Colton, with chiropractic (and maybe even with Lilly, too), because Colton knew right away that chiropractic was the career path he wanted to pursue.
Right after meeting, Lilly and Colton had to return to their universities to complete their undergraduate studies but kept in touch and continued to grow their relationship. They also began their search for a chiropractic school and decided to ask Drs. Freeman about their experience with Palmer Florida. After hearing nothing but positive feedback, Lilly and Colton decided to schedule a campus tour.
Sure enough, Lilly and Colton both fell in love with Palmer Florida. They canceled the rest of their scheduled campus visits and started to plan their move from Alabama and Tennessee to Port Orange, Florida.
Lilly and Colton are now three trimesters into the program and are truly loving everything about it. Their 5-month-old, Collins Drew, loves it here at Palmer Florida, too.
