Cindy Le: Embracing Leadership & Community Through Chiropractic

After suffering from migraines for most of her adult life, she found chiropractic care through a friend’s recommendation. “After getting my first adjustment, I knew chiropractic was right for me. I went from having four or five migraines a week to virtually none. My chiropractor was a Palmer alumnus who shared everything about the profession, and I was hooked!” she explains.

Now approaching graduation, Cindy sees her Palmer education as a pivotal influence on her future career. “The chiropractic education and training I’ve received here has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to help others and instilled a profound sense of purpose,” she expresses.

“The time I’ve had in the Palmer Chiropractic Clinics has been integral in honing my chiropractic skills, both technique-wise and with patient interaction. I’ve been able to work with many different types of patients and doctors who all taught me something I’ll take with me when I graduate,” she says.

Through the Clinics’ community outreach efforts, Cindy has seen first-hand the impact chiropractic care has on underserved populations.

“Seeing people who needed care but could not access it due to social or economic reasons helped me understand the significance of being in this profession,” she reflects. “Seeing patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and enhance their overall well-being through holistic care is incredibly rewarding,” Cindy adds.

Outside of the classroom, Cindy developed professional skills as a Palmer Business Ambassador through the Palmer Center for Business Development. “I started working as a Palmer Business Ambassador in quarter two and have remained in this role through my 12th quarter,” she highlights. This position has allowed her to develop essential professional skills and overcome her fear of public speaking. “Being a liaison between the Center for Business Development and my peers has shaped my professional skills,” she notes.

Following graduation, Cindy plans to associate under experienced chiropractors for the first two years with aspirations of potentially owning her own practice. “Palmer has provided a strong foundation in both hands-on clinical experience and the academic curriculum,” she states. The emphasis on holistic health and patient-centered care has shaped her chiropractic approach, preparing her to be a compassionate and dedicated chiropractic care provider.
