The West Campus community has had several COVID-19 cases reported this week. Campus community members are reminded to be mindful of the potential of exposure to COVID-19 and transmission to others.

The college continues to closely follow all county, state and federal public health mandates regarding COVID-19. Community members are reminded that:

  • Practicing good hygiene, such as masking when in close contact with others, is recommended.
  • Quarantine is not required unless you develop symptoms or receive a positive COVID test result.
  • If you’ve been notified of close contact with a positive case, you should.
    • Self-monitor for symptoms for the next 10 days and test on Day 3, 4 or 5.
    • Wear a well-fitting mask around others for the next 10 days.
    • Isolate and test immediately if you develop symptoms.

If you develop COVID-19 symptoms, isolate and get tested. If you test positive, please submit the positive diagnosis form to the College immediately.

Faculty members will be notified of an Exempt absence for students reporting cases.

As always, practice good hygiene such as masking, and if you are ill, stay home.
