DO YOU ALREADY HAVE YOUR UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE?
If you have a B.S. degree in a health-care related field, you may already meet our admissions requirements. If not, the D.C. Prep Fast-Track is offered virtually and will provide you with up to 15 of the required 24 science credits. This is a great way to dive into chiropractic while preparing for our D.C. curriculum.
ARE YOU EARLY IN YOUR UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES?
Explore our 3+1, 2+2 or Bachelor of Science Completion programs, which can help you save up to a year of time and tuition.
DID YOU JUST GRADUATE HIGH SCHOOL?
We collaborated with Scott Community College in Davenport, Iowa, to develop a joint admissions program for our Main Campus. This affordable, high-quality program prepares you to enroll directly into Palmer’s Doctor of Chiropractic program. You’ll earn your B.S. and D.C. degree in as few as five and a half years* by utilizing this pathway. You can also use this pathway for Palmer’s Bachelor of Science Completion program or you can take advantage of our 3+1 and 2+2 agreements. Either way, you’ll be saving tuition and time!
*Important note: Some states require a bachelor’s degree for licensing, so check with the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards before choosing this pathway.
Agreement Descriptions
Bachelor of Science Degree Completion Program
The Bachelor of Science Degree Completion Program, available at Palmer’s Main Campus, allows students to simultaneously take courses that meet the requirements of their B.S. and D.C. degrees. You’ll simultaneously complete one year of the Doctor of Chiropractic program and obtain your Bachelor of Science degree, all while studying under many of the same professors as D.C.-Program students.

3+1 Program
Through a 3+1 agreement, you complete three years at a participating undergraduate institution. Then, you complete the first year’s coursework at Palmer in the Doctor of Chiropractic program. Credits can then be transferred back to complete the undergraduate degree. This essentially allows you to complete your first year of our D.C. program while completing your undergraduate degree.
Utilize this acceleration program at either Palmer campus.
2+2 Program
Through a 2+2 agreement, you complete a minimum of 60 college-level credit hours at a participating undergraduate institution.* You’ll then transfer to Palmer College of Chiropractic, completing a minimum of 30 credit hours of undergraduate coursework, before going on to complete 30 credit hours of doctorate coursework to achieve your four-year Bachelor of Science degree. You’ll essentially complete year one of the Doctor of Chiropractic program and obtain your undergraduate degree – saving you a year of time and tuition!
Utilize this acceleration program at Palmer’s Main Campus.
D.C. Prep Fast-Track
Palmer College’s D.C. Prep Fast-Track is offered online and is designed for the future student who needs coursework in the basic sciences. You’ll learn how to manage multiple courses in science while you refine the skills needed to jumpstart your Doctor of Chiropractic education here.
The D.C. Prep Fast-Track program benefits students from around the country who can take online science courses from the comfort of their home, no matter which Palmer campus they’re enrolled at.
