Each year, Palmer College of Chiropractic awards approximately $4 million in scholarships – many of which are specifically designed for incoming students.

Scholarships for Incoming Students
Main Campus
Fountainhead Award for Academic Achievement – Palmer Main Campus
The Fountainhead Award is a $15,000 ($1,500 per trimester) renewable scholarship open to all incoming Palmer students who achieved a 3.50 or higher GPA as an undergraduate. The scholarships are awarded to incoming Doctor of Chiropractic students enrolling full-time. Recipients must maintain a 2.75 in-program GPA to renew the award each term.
California Scholarship Fund
The California Scholarship Fund is a $15,000 ($1,500 per trimester) scholarship. All applicants who are California residents are automatically eligible. It’s stackable with the Fountainhead Award for Academic Achievement.
Canadian Scholarship Fund
The Canadian Scholarship Fund is a $15,000 ($1,500 per trimester) scholarship. All applicants who are Canadian residents are automatically eligible. It’s stackable with the Fountainhead Award for Academic Achievement.
Puerto Rico Scholarship Fund
The Puerto Rico Scholarship Fund is a $15,000 ($1,500 per trimester) scholarship. All applicants who are residents of Puerto Rico are automatically eligible. It’s stackable with the Fountainhead Award for Academic Achievement.
Merit Scholarships
An award for incoming, full-time students demonstrating academic achievement in their undergraduate studies. The award is for the student’s first term of enrollment and isn’t renewable. Availability is limited.
- Dean Award – Cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.25-3.49
- Wyvern Award – Cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0-3.24
Legacy Scholarship
A $1,000 scholarship for incoming, full-time students who are the relative of a Palmer alumnus. The award is for the student’s first academic term and isn’t renewable.
Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
A $1,000 scholarship for incoming, full-time students who are members of the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society.
Palmer Florida Campus

Current Student Scholarships
Palmer has more than 180 donor-designated scholarships for current students with awards ranging from $500 up to a full term’s tuition! To view all the available scholarships and award criteria, visit Palmer’s Scholarship Portal. Students can log in with the Palmer ID and password. Opportunities to apply will be made available in August and January.

Outside scholarship checks should be sent no later than 30 days prior to the start of the term for timely processing. Please ensure the student’s name and appropriate campus is on the correspondence. If there are questions about the Outside Scholarship Process, please call the Office of Financial Planning at 563-884-5740 or email scholarships@palmer.edu.
