Overview
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and national emergency declaration on March 13, 2020 three pieces of legislation including the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) passed last spring, Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2021 (CRRSAA) passed in late 2020 and the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARP) passed in March of 2021, represent funding appropriated for institutions of higher education to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus. Taken together, CARES, CRRSAA and the ARP represent HEERF I, HEERF II, and HEERF III, respectively. In total, Palmer College of Chiropractic has received and awarded $1,777,813 in emergency direct assistance to students through the HEERF Grant program.
