(Davenport, Iowa) – Incoming enrollment at Palmer College of Chiropractic has reached record highs at its main campus in Davenport, Iowa, with the spring 2021 class that began on March 9 marking the largest incoming class in eight years. Palmer College has two branch campuses. Palmer Florida, located in Port Orange, Florida, is expecting to welcome its largest spring-term class since it opened in 2002 at the start of the term in April 2021. Palmer West, located in San Jose, California, is on trend to experience its largest spring-term enrollment in 10 years.
Even as the COVID-19 pandemic has caused challenges across many industries, Palmer College has experienced growth, with signs of more to come.
“Compared to the past two years, applications are up by 30% in fiscal year 20-21,” said Michael Norris, Ph.D., vice chancellor for admissions. “When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, the entire College quickly adapted to the needs of current and prospective students.”
More than 2,100 students are currently enrolled across the College’s three campuses; with more than 900 at Palmer’s main campus. This rise in enrollment comes as Palmer completes $35 million in campus enhancements over the past five years to its main campus.
Approximately one out of every five chiropractic students around the world attends Palmer College.
