Most people only dream of being part of the Olympics. For Palmer graduate Aaron Webb, D.C., that dream became reality in the summer of 2024. Dr. Webb cared for members of the Puerto Rican Olympic Team during the Paris Olympics, helping athletes from wrestlers and boxers to sprinters reach peak performance.
Dr. Webb’s journey to the Olympics is a testament to his commitment to provide elite care to every patient just as much as it is to his ability to connect with his patients. He holds a “one door always opens another” mentality, and credits that mindset as the catalyst that brought some of the world’s best athletes through his practice doors. Just one referral from an existing patient to the Olympic Committee led athletes from eight different Olympic teams training in central Florida to Dr. Webb’s practice within months, steering him to even greater opportunities.
For Dr. Webb, time spent at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida wasn’t just about mastering adjustments; it was about building confidence, chasing knowledge, and understanding the human body. He didn’t just learn the science behind it; he fully absorbed the chiropractic philosophy, which became key to his work.
“Palmer Florida gave me the confidence to handle anything,” Dr. Webb says. “The rigorous classes, the focus on hands-on practice, and the amazing support from faculty really prepared me for the intense Olympic environment.”
That education was the backbone of his expertise. Knowing biomechanics, being able to diagnose and treat complex muscle issues, and understanding sports injuries—all things he learned at Palmer—were vital for his work with the Puerto Rican team. At the Olympics, Dr. Webb cared for patients alongside a team of other medical professionals, sports psychologists and more, who collaborated to support each athlete, ensuring athletes could push their limits safely and effectively.
“Working with the Puerto Rican Olympic Team was a huge honor,” Dr. Webb shares. “It was a chance to use everything I learned at Palmer on the world stage. Seeing those athletes achieve their goals, knowing I helped, was incredibly rewarding.”
Dr. Webb’s story shows that education isn’t just about knowledge; it’s about unlocking potential. He embodies what Palmer is all about, proving that a strong education and dedication can lead to amazing things. He didn’t just dream of making a difference; he did it, showing that Palmer graduates make a global impact.
“At the end of the day, it’s a beautiful thing to be involved in the highest level of achievement, whatever that may be,” Dr. Webb says. “And it is just as beautiful to be a Palmer alum included in a community where the best in the world come together to succeed.”
