The new Bruce & Bethel Hagen Student Union is possible thanks to the generous $1 million donation by Bruce C. Hagen, D.C. and his wife Bethel.
With their recent $300,000 gift to support priority capital projects of the College, the future Learning Commons building on the main campus will feature the Beane Family Active Learning Classroom.
Palmer College’s blueprint—its vision—for the future is 100% motivated by a desire to fully meet its mission of promoting innovative learning, delivering health care, engaging the community, and advancing knowledge through research, Dr. Marchiori explains. “It’s also driven by our larger spirit to take chiropractic care to every corner of our globe and to do so in a way that only Palmer College can.”
The Trevor V. Ireland Student Clinic will now be located on the renovated third floor of the Palmer outpatient clinic, improving the student experience by offering 25 treatment rooms to be used for patient care. It’ll also be home to a renovated radiology suite, where students will gain experience in diagnostic imaging interpretation. One-hundred-inch monitors with interactive tablets will allow for an immersive experience with image review for students.
A $100,000 grant awarded to Palmer College of Chiropractic by the Regional Development Authority (RDA) will support campus enhancement plans that will help ensure current and future students have a top-of-the-line learning experience.
