Founded 124 years ago by D.D. Palmer, Palmer College of Chiropractic is the oldest and most-respected chiropractic college in the world.
As the 125th anniversary approaches, Palmer College will dedicate new multi-million-dollar spaces this Thursday, September 16, 2021, at 11:45 a.m. on its main campus in Davenport.
“I’d dealt with debilitating migraines since I was thirteen years old. The team chiropractor started working on my neck, and it didn’t occur to me until sometime later that I stopped having migraines. It was the longest I’d ever gone without one.”
When all is said and done, more than $35 million in projects will be completed, including the R. Richard Bittner Athletic & Recreation Center, Trevor V. Ireland Student Clinic, and the Bruce & Bethel Hagen Student Union in the Quad Cities.
To recognize the family for their generous gift, a group study room in the new David D. Palmer Learning Commons will bear the Coffey family name.“I know he’d be so proud of how Palmer has grown, and he’d want all the students to remember the power of THE specific chiropractic adjustment—it’s what makes what we do so awesome.”
