Longtime Davenport campus professor, Gilbert O. Schmiedel, D.C., (Main, ’59), died Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa.

The RSNA awards committee presented 28 Magna Cum Laude awards, 67 Cum Laude awards, and 302 Certificate of Merit awards, of which Dr. Skalski received five.

That “ah-ha” moment happened for Dr. Nielsen, a 2012 graduate of Palmer, when he realized that as a chiropractor, he would be a primary care provider, with the skills to both diagnose and treat a wide variety of illnesses and injuries without drugs or surgery.
