Founded on the four principles of leadership, recruitment, philanthropy and service, the P.A.C. awards Fellowships to individuals embodying those principles and showing extraordinary dedication to Palmer College.

For 14 years, he and fellow chiropractors advocated for licensure with the Massachusetts Chiropractic Society and they were eventually successful when then-Governor John Volpe signed a bill into law in 1967. Dr. Kiernan practiced in his clinic in Lawrence, Massachusetts from 1967 until his retirement in 1997.

Leonard Feldman, D.C. was inducted into the Palmer Academy of Fellows in 2019 during Homecoming.

Mabel was a close and valued adviser to her husband. She was a popular lecturer throughout the chiropractic profession and became known as The First Lady of Chiropractic. She formed the Sigma Phi Chi professional sorority in 1911.
