Experiencing life as a chiropractic student during the COVID-19 pandemic hasn’t been easy, but like generations of chiropractors before them, today’s students are showing resilience and finding ways to make the best of this time.

As a result, Palmer College of Chiropractic is making available a one-time $225 HEERF grant to approximately 1,800 eligible students thanks to this emergency grant aid.

Many factors are taken into consideration when reviewing applications and determining grant amounts. These factors include, but are not limited to availability of funding, and the nature and urgency of the student's emergency.

Moon was one of 12 students selected nationally to participate in a structured focus group, where he and others gave feedback to the NBCE about their unique experiences with applications, exam administration and security, and score reporting.

"With Black History Month, it's vital we take time to honor the chiropractors who came before us who have helped pave the path in representation in the chiropractic field. We need to celebrate their successes not just this month, but always!" said SABCA president Remi Jeffries.
