The project also includes a student research training component, the first of its kind at a chiropractic college. Doctor of chiropractic students on Palmer’s Main campus will have an opportunity to obtain hands-on laboratory experience by working with scientists.

Corey Harrington talks about being a former paramedic and choosing a career in the field of chiropractic."Before I came to Palmer I worked in the health-care field as a paramedic. And, I've always had an interest in being involved with health care and the reason I chose chiropractic is because of its natural holistic outlook. I just really want to get involved in a profession that focuses on wellness and not necessarily on sick care."
