Grant Number: R15-AT009612
Award Amount: $451,522
Funding Period:07/05/2017 – 06/30/2020
Principal Investigators: Stephen Onifer, Ph.D. and Bradley K. Taylor, Ph.D. (University of Pittsburgh)
Co-Investigators: Cynthia Long, Ph.D.
Laboratory Support: Randall Sozio, B.S., LATG, Charlie Arends, B.S.
Collaborative Institution: University of Pittsburgh
Description:
This project was a collaboration between the Palmer Center for Chiropractic Research (PCCR) and the University of Pittsburgh. The grant funded a three-year research project to learn more about the underlying factors of pain relief following spinal manipulative therapy. The project also included a student research training component, the first of its kind at a chiropractic college.
