Palmer Imaging Consultation Services (PICS) provides diagnostic imaging interpretations by the director of Clinical Radiology on the Davenport and Florida campuses. Interpretation services include the evaluation of X-ray, MRI and CT images.

This unique service provides interpretation of both digital and conventional X-rays along with advanced imaging studies primarily MRI examinations.

Having your images interpreted will not only improve your diagnostic confidence and patient management but will also reduce your liability by providing professional radiology reports. This service is also a significant time-saver respective to writing radiology reports!

We also provide a Radiology Cloud with an uploader as an innovative mechanism of getting your DIGITAL images to PICS for seamless interpretation. Contact Dr. McLean or Dr. Richardson to discuss service availability and image transfer through the AMBRA Radiology Cloud. The Radiology Cloud is based on a full-featured radiology workstation and associated software systems that allow evaluation of your images.

Fees start at $20 for an X-ray interpretation. 

Images may be uploaded via the AMBRA UPLOADER. 

  • Contact Dr. McLean or Dr. Richardson to discuss service availability and image transfer through the AMBRA Radiology Cloud.
  • The uploader will take you through the submission process, but please read the PDF first.
  • Upload images via the AMBRA UPLOADER for Main Campus or Florida Campus. Images must be DICOM (.dcm) files, which are the original radiology image files. 
  • Remember to save the uploader link in your web browser to be easily located in the future!
  • Once the images are uploaded, please complete the Radiology Requisition and fax to 563-884-5581 or use the PDF Send function to directly send the images.
