These terms and conditions (Terms) apply to the entire Palmer College of Chiropractic community (College), which is defined as including the Main Campus (Palmer College Foundation, d/b/a Palmer College of Chiropractic), Palmer West (Palmer College of Chiropractic West) and Palmer Florida (Palmer College Foundation, Inc., d/b/a Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida) and any other person(s), groups, or organizations affiliated with, associated with, conducting business with or on behalf of any Palmer campus.
Palmer College of Chiropractic sends SMS messages via various platforms to communicate about events, event reminders, session location changes, to highlight particular exhibitions, to inform of drawings for prizes, and session cancellations. The College and its texting platforms will only text you when you have “opted-in” and for purposes you have selected. The information via text messaging is information the College deems helpful and pertinent.
Subscribing to the SMS messaging service is not required to gain admission to College activities and events.

SMS Privacy Statement
Your use of the SMS messaging service is governed by the College’s SMS Privacy Statement. The College will not ask you for, nor should you provide personally identifiable information, passwords, or any other confidential or sensitive information in SMS messages. The College does not share your information with third parties except where permitted by the College’s SMS Privacy Statement. All mobile information you share with the College, for this purpose, will remain confidential and will only be used by College representatives to help provide you with the best possible service.

You represent that you are the account holder for the mobile telephone number(s) that you provide. The College is not liable for any communication or transmission of information by text, which happens because you did not report that your mobile number changed. Password-protecting mobile device(s) and enabling encryption, if available, is recommended.
Opt-In
By voluntarily opting in, you agree to the College’s SMS Terms and the College’s SMS Privacy Statement. You are also providing consent for the College and its various SMS messaging platforms to send text messages to you pertaining to the content you subscribe to.
Palmer College of Chiropractic community and guests may opt-in to receiving text messages (i.e., SMS messages) by scanning the designated QR code or by texting PALMERHOMECOMING to 833-596-3353. You may also opt-out at any time by replying STOP to any text message from the College and its texting platforms.
The College will always identify itself in its first text message sent to you for every new line of communication.
Message Frequency
Following opting in to receive notifications, the frequency of text messages you receive will vary based on which text message services you have chosen to receive and the number of text message subscriptions you have chosen to receive. The College will only text you between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m.
Opt-Out
If you give us permission to send you texts, you may opt-out of that permission at any time by replying “stop” to the text received.
If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time, and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
No Warranties
Note that SMS communications from the College may not be available through all mobile carriers.
Delivery of information and content to your mobile device may fail due to a variety of circumstances and conditions. Delivery of text messages is subject to effective transmission from your wireless service provider, which is beyond the control of the College. Accordingly, neither the College nor the carriers are liable for any delays or failures in the receipt of any text messages. Further, this SMS service is provided without any warranty or guarantee of any kind, either expressed or implied.
Messaging Costs
Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply. When you opt-in to receive SMS messages, you are responsible for any carrier fees such as data plan charges, text messaging charges, tolls, out-of-area roaming, and other charges. Messaging frequency per month varies based on your subscribed status and associated actions. Check with your mobile operator for details on receiving text messages (SMS) or if you have any questions about your text plan or data plan.
