Palmer Student Alumni Foundation
The Palmer Student Alumni Foundation (PSAF) is the liaison between the Palmer College of Chiropractic student body and the Palmer alumni. The mission of PSAF is to promote a strong professional spirit among students through bridging the communications between students and alumni.
SPIZZ Night – Once per term at each campus, PSAF hosts a SPIZZ Night. Alumni are invited back to speak to students, typically those entering Palmer College, about a chiropractic topic and provide their philosophies. Alumni will work closely with an executive board member of PSAF to coordinate logistics for the event.
Clinic Tours – Twice per term at each campus, PSAF hosts Clinic Tours (also known as Doc Tours). A Clinic Tour is an opportunity for students to get a “behind the scenes” look at how a practice operates. Alumni have showcased their office layout, practice software, consult rooms or anything that may be unique and successful for your practice.
If you’re interested in hosting a Clinic Tour or speaking at a SPIZZ Night, email alumni@palmer.edu or call 800-722-2586 ext. 3.
Palmer Women's Institute
Women chiropractors have unique gifts, needs and opportunities. The institute brings together chiropractic faculty, students, alumni, women leaders and entrepreneurs together to support women in chiropractic through education, mentoring, professional development, and networking. The Palmer Women’s Institute (PWI) is open to Palmer students, alumni, and other women chiropractors. Students have the opportunity to hold leadership positions within the organization.
At its core, PWI strives to empower all future chiropractors. To strengthen relationships will all future chiropractors, collaboration with student organizations, including those with similar missions, will contribute to the organization’s overall success and Palmer College of Chiropractic. PWI encourages its members to represent Palmer College positively and encourage participation in other organizations, in tandem with involvement within its own organization, when necessary. Events include bake sales and recognition during Mabel Palmer’s birthday celebration.
